Every year that I go to Japan I always go to the area. It is a shame about holding back tourists. They should get a little organized and have something for tourists, maybe charge a small fee. If I remember correctly the market is moving to another area soon. Would have been earlier a few years ago but they found toxic soil. Hopefully the row of sushiyas that are next door wont be affected by the move. I love the sushi there. Most of them open at 5am. Heh, I always go around 11am and wait 2 hours in line.
