Carrot_Cardamom_Oyster

April 30th, 2011 · No Comments ·

This oyster was fed a mixture of carrot juice, green cardamom, and aquarium salt that had been blended with a high-speed rotor-stator homogenizer to reduce the liquid's particle size below 10 microns. Larger particles could clog the oyster's gills. The oyster ate the mixture and flavored itself while it was still alive. It was served with crème fraîche and chives.
